Interior Designer
Meet Assel. She received her diploma from the Art Institute of Vancouver and worked alongside many talented residential interior designers before deciding to switch to commercial design. She has a keen eye for design details and aesthetics and is a wonderful addition to our collaborative team.

What inspires you?
I think the biggest source of inspiration for me is traveling. Art galleries, people, nature, and good music also inspire me.
If you weren’t an interior designer, what career would you have pursued?
I’ve always been drawn to beautiful, aesthetically pleasing things. My passion for creating and appreciating beauty naturally led me to interior design.
What sets you apart from other designers?
What sets me apart is my flexibility and problem-solving skills. I always look for creative solutions and ways to improve. My design process is all about adapting to the client's needs and finding the best approach.
Describe your dream project.
My dream project would be designing a boutique hotel with all the amenities, inspired by a nomadic style. It would blend luxury and comfort with a sense of adventure and connection to nature.
What is your favourite part of the design process?
Picking materials and creating mood boards.
